As a young businessman, Mark grew a small litigation support firm into a statewide powerhouse, employing over 150 Texans and reaching annual sales of nearly $8 million.
As a founding member and Past President of the Texas Association of Record Specialists, Mark was instrumental in shaping bills in the 65th through 75th sessions of the Texas Legislature. His efforts, along with other members of the Association, led to a body of law concerning the introduction of medical and business records at trial that remains in effect today. His testimony and liaison efforts simplified the pretrial discovery process, saving law firms millions of dollars every year. Mark continues to look for opportunities to contribute to the industry's future with his experience and wisdom.
Even though he is committed to keeping Datascope the leader in litigation support excellence, Mark admits to being more comfortable in blue jeans and boots than a suit and tie. He is a member of the Stock Horse of Texas Association and the American Endurance Riding Conference. He also supports the Texas Special Olympics, as well as S.I.R.E., a therapeutic riding center for the handicapped.
